White Steel — 2011 AQHA Perlino Stallion.
If you are looking for a stallion that can consistently produce highly marketable foals, White Steel deserves serious consideration. His foals always sell in utero and before they are weaned. A single foal crop has already proven capable of paying for White Steel’s entire purchase price.
White Steel is our 36% Poco Bueno perlino stallion. From his very first foal crop, his babies have consistently sold either in utero or before weaning, usually with very little advertising.
There is also considerable potential that we have not pursued. We breed only a limited number of our own mares and rarely accept outside mares because we are not set up to manage the additional workload and wish to retire. White Steel had an excellent semen evaluation and is well suited for a program offering transported semen. Someone equipped to handle outside mares and promote him more actively could develop a valuable breeding-income stream while putting him in front of a much larger market.

The Proof is in His Foals
White Steel has never been bred to large numbers of mares, and his offspring have received relatively limited promotion and show exposure. Even so, they are already winning across several disciplines.
Their accomplishments include:
2026 State Champion in Reining
Reserve Champion at the KRHA Ranch Horse Challenge
2025 NOHSA World Champion in Ranch Horse and third in Reining
AHA National and Regional Championships in Halter, Trail, Western Pleasure, Sport Horse and Ranch classes
NSHF Champion in Western
Grand Champion in Reining, western pleasure, ranch pleasure and ranch riding

High Point Ranch/Western Youth Rider
Foals People Want to Own
White Steel consistently passes on an exceptional mind. His foals are kind, willing and trainable, with the athletic ability to compete while remaining sensible enough for amateur owners to enjoy.
We have had particularly good results crossing him with cow-bred, reining-bred and Foundation mares. These crosses have added athletic ability while retaining the bone, substance and durability for which White Steel is known.
Because he has been used selectively, the market is far from saturated with his offspring. His foals are already selling and winning, leaving considerable opportunity for a program willing to breed and promote him more extensively.
