White Steel: A Proven Sire and a Genuine Breeding Opportunity
FIf you are looking for a stallion that can consistently produce highly marketable foals, White Steel deserves serious consideration. His foals always sell in utero and before they are weaned. A single foal crop has already proven capable of paying for White Steel’s entire purchase price.
White Steel is our 35% Poco Bueno perlino stallion. From his very first foal crop, his babies have consistently sold either in utero or before weaning, usually with very little advertising. Based on our actual foal sales, a modest foal crop could realistically repay his purchase price in a single breeding season.
There is also considerable potential that we have not pursued. We breed only a limited number of our own mares and rarely accept outside mares because we are not set up to manage the additional workload and wish to retire. White Steel had an excellent semen evaluation and is well suited for a program offering transported semen. Someone equipped to handle outside mares and promote him more actively could develop a valuable breeding-income stream while putting him in front of a much larger market.
This is not an easy decision for us, but we are willing to consider the right home where White Steel can be used to his full potential.
Proven With Limited Foal Crops
White Steel has never been bred to large numbers of mares, and his offspring have received relatively limited promotion and show exposure. Even so, they are already winning across several disciplines.

These results are especially meaningful because his foals are not being shown by large professional programs. Most are owned, trained and shown by amateurs.

We have had particularly good results crossing him on cow-bred and reining-bred mares.
