Steel Shinee is a 2020 Buckskin AQHA Registered Colt. What a pretty and personable guy with a great pedigree to boot. "Shine" has a pretty head with curved ears, a big hip, laid back shoulder and a :three circle” body. I just love this guy's disposition and conformation. Even at a young age he is so well muscled, yet refined. Like a good QH should be. This colt is as athletic as they get. He can move and dance across the ground. Just like his pedigree says he should. His sire is White Steel, a Perlino Foundation AQHA stallion with 36% Poco Bueno blood. His dam is sired by a son of Smart Little Lena. She was imported from Germany and bred by the Babcock Ranch. His offspring have earned over $100k. Her dam is Lemon Light a daughter of $8 million sire, Greys Starlight and is out of Reminic dtr. This colt has an incredible pedigree filled with the superstars in the Reining and Cutting World. He is bred to be a performance horse, would be a great Ranch Versatility Prospect.
Shine is an athletic boy. He can sit down and get that rear end under himself quite easily. He is surefooted and handy on his feet. He is a pretty mover wrapped in a pretty package. This boy is easy to handle and has good ground manners. Such a quiet nature on this guy. He leads, ties, has been trailered. He is good minded and likes the attention He has been over the wooden bridges, over tarps and, through the noodles. He has a great jump start on his education.
Shines now living on our rolling Kentucky pasture to ensure that he grows up strong-legged and healthy with great social skills from living in a herd environment. We do handle our foals frequently but also believe they need to grow up naturally in a pasture to play and mature well.
