Mister Skeet Shot - 2009 Palomino AQHA Gelding.
Mister Skeet Shot is a great guy. He is as sweet as the come and absolutely loves his people. He loves attention, just eats it up. This boy is just a tank! He is wide, big boned and capable of carrying any rider. He measured 15.2 on a level stick and most would say much taller with his massive body. Perfect size to fit the whole family.
This big guy was purchased from us as a four year old. His owner has trail ridden him and he has been all around the farm. He has given rides to many family members and is slow going and easy. He is the type of horse that you can leave off for months and still be the same horse on the next ride.
Skeeter is not spooky at all. He is curious and interested in where he goes. Not hot blooded, prefers to take it easy. We took him in a group on a ride to Mammoth Cave and he lead, followed and was in the middle with no worries. Never gave a second look to anything he crossed.
This gelding is sired by Mister Creme Genes and is out of a Smokey Leo Bars mare. Plenty of solid foundation blood and boy does it show. Good bone, good feet, quiet mind.
Skeeter has only been used as a trail horse with beginner type riders. He does not have a large amount of arena work or finish training but he makes up for it is being calm and quiet, ready to accommodate. He would be a great husband mount or guest horse or perfect for the trail rider that wants something calm and easy.
This boy has always been kept in perfect health, he has never worn shoes and always kept up on health care. He is an easy keeper and gets along with other horses nicely.
