This big boy can flat out cover the ground. His walk is forward, just eats up the miles. He is not hot or jiggy, will stay at a flat footed walk and gets the job done. Hidalgo has excellent manners and knows the Clinton Anderson groundwork. He will tie patiently, stands still for mounting, bathes, is great for the farrier and eats up attention. Out on the trails, he is not hot or spooky. He will go out alone and is good in a group. He will cross mud, water, climb the hills and slide the banks. He has a good neckrein, so you can enjoy your ride.
