Baby Huey has been in the program since he was a yearling, he is now three years old and riding and driving like we thought he would. Such an easy, confident personality. Huey is part puppydog. He adores attention and is always playing with any toy that he can find.
I must admit, this guy has stolen my heart with his fun and willing soul.
Not a spooky guy, more curious than worried about new things. He thinks the world is his to enjoy.
Huey is a big boy at 17.1 and very solid. He will be able to carry absolutely anyone. He will sidepasses to mount, which certainly does come in handy. He stands patiently for mounting as well. Not in a hurry, but responsive to the aids. He has a nice canter, uphill and flowy. He comes off the leg and bit, and is oh so willing to please. Great on trails and is not likely to spook. Been on many solo rides and in small groups. He been around traffic, dogs, wildlife and more. Goes through mud and water, been on very tough terrain and simply has no worries. He has been ridden with the flag and with the dancing man, loves the leafblower and will carry the tarp without batting an eye.
He also does the Clinton Anderson groundwork. Lowers his head to bridle and halter, ground ties for saddling.
Baby Huey begs for attention and loves to be the center of attention. He just eats it up.
This boy is an absolute joy to work with. He garners fans everywhere he goes. He deserves a special family.
