Walk In High Cotten - 2018 Palomino AQHA gelding
Walk In High Cotten AKA Scudder is a five year old Palomino AQHA gelding.
This boy is stout and well made, at 14.1, he is the perfect size for the rider needing something easy to get on and off. He is super smart. he learns things so readily. Enjoys being told how good he is. “Scudder” is a fantastic trail mount. He has a good walk, with interest in the trail ahead. He is surefooted and careful on the tough terrain and is bold enough to tackle any obstacle on the trail. Mud, hills, slide down banks, no worries at all. He has a ton of miles solo on the trail and does not get upset to leave others. He will go in a group and lead or follow. He loads and back out easily and has no anxiety being by himself.
Scudder is doing the obstacles and is not afraid of new challenges. He is not a spooky horse, very confident of himself. Very interested in new surroundings and not stressed in new situations. He will do all the bridges, the water box, tilt bridge, balance beam and so much more.
In the arena, he does all the gaits and will hold a circle well. Gives to the bit and comes off the leg. Neckreins, sidepasses and moves his shoulders and hips. Will go on a loose rein without worry and will bridle up and hold a frame when asked.
Been though all the desensitizing and was an easy study. Leafblower, tarps, umbrella, plastic bags, all easy for him.
