  • Cobbler is doing well in our Program and has been trail ridden many miles, been driven and ridden down the road for 60 days, completed the Clinton Anderson Fundamentals for 8 weeks and started on Intermediate. He has had tons of desensitizing. Plastic bags, tarps, umbrellas, ATV’s, kids and dogs. He has a no worries kind of attitude.

  • Cobbler is also learning a few tricks. He has mastered laying down on cue, doing a one legged boy and being mounted while laying down.

  • This sweet guy has had beginner and advanced riders on him. He will adapt to the level of rider. He is tolerant and willing to please.

  • Part of our program consists of giving them a break after some concentrated training, and then bringing them back to work to judge their attitude after some time off. Most owners cannot ride their horses daily, so we incorporate breaks into the training to test how they will do with time off. This also allows them to be horses and not be trained on every day. A good social life is important for the well being of your horse. We take about a year to finish a horse as it is as much about seasoning as concentrated training. Many miles, with a complete education.

  • Cobbler is very mellow. He wants to please. We have taken him to new places and he has no worries. He has been down the road under saddle and pulling a buggy, not afraid of traffic or the like. He has learned to move off the leg, move the hip, shoulder and leg yield. He has been across all the obstacles and is very confident. He has a wonderful, uphill canter. I could ride it all day.

  • This boy is also doing many solo trail rides. He does not need a buddy to be confident. He goes wherever you point. Mud, water, steep hills, wildlife, all good to go.

  • He has great manners and is safe for novice horse people. Has been though our desensitizing program and was an easy student. He has all the making of a fine Ultimate Trail Horse.
