MissCandystripepoco - AQHA Mare
MissCandyStripePoco is our Foundation AQHA Mare. She is 36% Poco Bueno and boy does it show. We chose her to cross on White Steel and have been overwhelmed by the results. Her foals have all sold within weeks of birth as so many are in love with this cross like we are.
Candy is big and stout, as wide as a tank. She has huge cannon bones, large, well formed feet and is correct all around. She has the sweetest and most mellow disposition, which she passing on to her foals.
Candy is sired by Little Blue Bueno who is sired by Poco Bueno Tom. Her dam is sired by The Royal Falcon and is out of a Poco Stripe dtr. Her pedigree also contains Doc Bar, Pretty Buck and King. She is a true Foundation bred AQHA mare.
As I mention before, Candy has the best personality. In fact, we lost our other high % Poco mare in a foaling accident. This left her filly with no dam at 24 hours old. Miss Candy stepped right in and raised that filly even though she had a week old colt on her side! Isn’t she the absolute best mama? This is just a testament to good, foundation breeding with great dispositions. I will always be grateful to her for the great gesture.
Candy’s foals have all had good size and substantial builds. They have all had her wonderful, laid back temperament. They love people and are eager to learn. We always look forward to working with her foals.
