CONGRATS TO ROXANNE ON THE PURCHASE OF BOURBON! MCF Cannon Cajun is a 2015 Registered Rocky Mountain Gelding. This guy has a lot of size and substance and the most fun personality. .
Cannon AKA Bourbon is enrolled in my Ultimate Trail Horse Training Program. He exhibits the calm and workable disposition that we desire in our finished horses. This guy absolutely loves people and has a high desire to please. He is like a puppy dog.
Bourbon is tall for a Rocky at 15.3. He is great on trails and easy to work with in the arena. He learns so quickly. He wants to be an A+ student.
He is already side passing, moving his hip and doing simple lead changes. He is soft in the bridle, back with the slightest pressure, stop from a nice canter with just your seat on a loose rein. He will do a leg yield at his gait and count bend as well. He just learns so quickly.
On the obstacles, he is learning to sidepass on the pole, back thru the “L” and wind the clock. He is going through the advanced water box with no worries.
He does all of the groundwork. He will load himself and back easily out of the trailer. He will side pass to the mounting block, bridle from your knees and all of our things that we consider basics.
